Joan Cantwell, RN, MA, CJEA Joan is a nurse, artist, writer and expressive arts teacher. She has over 25 years experience in the areas of health and wellness and the arts. She provides expressive arts for patients at Horizon Hospice and teaches therapeutic arts at Roosevelt, De Paul and Dominican Universities. She uses her artistic vision and holistic health care background to deliver dynamic workshops, classes, seminars, retreats, and personal coaching. Joan's own art and writing was recently exhibited at The National Vietnam Veterans Art Museum in Chicago. |
David Beleckis, MPS, CPE David is a chaplain at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL. He has extensive experience as an addictions counselor and working with families in critical life transitions. David has studied meditation for over 30 years. He is a life long student of religious studies, dream symbolism and film. David is the proud father of two sons and he lives with his wife, Joan Cantwell, in River Forest, Illinois. |
Doris Popovich, RN, MA Doris is a seasoned behavioral health nurse, an award winning author and a successful entrepreneur. In her 25 years of practice, she has experienced all positions and administrative levels of behavioral health nursing. Currently, she works part-time as a home care nurse, specializing in the treatment of homebound, mentally ill patients. Throughout her nursing career, Doris has always found time to write. She has published numerous poems, short stories and nonfiction. She has been a featured author/reader at the Printers Row Book Fair in Chicago five times, and continues to seek ways to practice and improve her love of writing. When she is not nursing or writing, Doris co-owns and co-manages a flourishing landscape design business – Touch of Eden Garden Design. |
